15. Holmes,R 1962 CroceThia alba 26 June Barrow, Alaska The bird half glides, half flutters, alighting on the ground. Mowing up display is given. Then is an uneven "hill" whirled at the end of a descent. - on stage. Twice during the day, a wing were held at < circle angle > - the muscles were moved up & down in a graceful flapping motion. On the ground, the bird fed actively - it seemed to me - to show the most animated feeding behavior of any Calidrine spp in this area. It pecks or probes rapidly - several times in the same locality & when finally 18 Aug 2 immatures seen along shore (fresh) Lake - collected. 19 Aug 40-50 immatures - the ponds forward THE Point. 21 Aug 3 immatures seen along fresh lake 24 Aug 30-40" on the ponds from A point 26 Aug 1 cm along fresh lake
