Crocepnia alba
6 June Borrow, Alaska
He moved around in the cup - turning flower
direction - but never really pressed
into it nor picked grass. The bird was
number 6 to be seen.
The bird left the nest cup after
about 2 minutes - walking over
the ruffled - punched pasture. Several
flaps during the hour. Two times it
did start aerial displays, which
usually ended in this bill-describe
above - give as the bird lands. The
wings were not held up after landing.
7 June One display seen at Britton's Area at 0530. One
display on S. side (ridgy, toward U.S.'s Arm) at
0900 & 3 choosing birds E 1/4th Arm at
1000. - I think there are all separate
birds! One of the birds of 3 - was
chased off. When the other two landed -
they went into a hunched posture.
