Holmes,R. 1963 Arenaria interpres 4. 19 Jun Barrow, Alaska Nest #1: (still intact) birds incubating. 26 Jun Several individuals (females) at Elsa Lagoon, N.1 Wobbley. 28 Jun Two adults w/ 4 young - not more than 2 days old - among polygons along the South Arm / South shore lagoon. - 2 chick collectors 2 July Nest #2 - Dr. Sheid Woblesdley - with 3 young & 1 egg - No chicks seen besides. Only 1 adult ever present. 3 Jul Nest #4 - gone - no Sep 1 but nearly - Undoubtedly hatched. 12 July 2 Adults collected NE (Necchidy) (So. N. Saet lagoon) - one in heavy molt, 1 not yet started to molt no chicks seen. 24 July Flock of 14 adults feeding a gravel road & Adjacent ponds at south end of Frost Lake. Several adults in gravel pads - at Britton's Area. 5 Aug 3 Adults & 4 Imm. feeding together in loose aggregation a gravel pad near Britton's Area. 12 Aug Flock 16 immatures along Frost Lake 15 Aug 1 adult Frost Lake 22 Aug 2 dn " " "
