26 June Barrow, Alaska
Other individuals + pairs were seen
between AACS & the magnetic station.
Also 2pr were seen along Elsa Lagoon
& on the west star (solt lagoon).
5 July Barrow, Alaska
A group of 4 young seen half
way between AACS & the magnetic
station. Both adults were in attendance
(+1 or 2 others that came in at
the excitement of the other). The nest
by AACS remained unwatched.
11 July - The nest is still intact; both birds are
present.
18 July - 3 seen feeding south (Wold. Stough).
The nest by the AACS watched
last evening within evenning as
the nest was empty at 11:30. The
birds were still present & excited,
and Dan sure the young were
neatly somewhere.
23 July Five adults + 2 juveniles ever seen
at the curve? The B.R. near the
magnetic station. The 2 young were
hovered. The adults were very
excited, & the 4? gave a typical
plum desthlin display (hunched,
wings dropped, tail bowed).
