Stat. 11 June 1 seen between gusliet level ridges 3 flying east over volcano. 15 June One pair - census plot - 3 flying arr. 18 June Just par . 21 June No bird seen to be settled on The Shroarvih Census Plot - Although several individuals were seen. No displays noted. 25 June - 1 bird a nest plot (without display) + a pair in south plot. No display activity. 29 June - 1 nest with 3 eggs - 50rds west/gasline- NWT sasquawney. (GP.2). GP.1 - with 4 eggs found a Shroard census plot - Bleed moss- lichen. The incubating bird gave strong distractive display. Head down horizontal with ground + forward - body feathers ruffled - wings extended fully to the side + flapping, tail depressed + widely fanned. + As I approached The nest - it turned & looked at me - wings still spread horizontally.
