24 July Darny, Alaska
Habiting individuals seem to prefer the lower slopes. I judge 1 or 2 are on the low-lying polygynous edge in the lowlands. Body molt is proceeding rapidly - all feathers are very smotty.
25 July Barney, Alaska
Adults - 19 - only 7 - one P.A. near Cloverly - feeding a flat - relatively well drained areas?
26 July Scarboro' individuals north of D.A. Tree -
27 July Flock of 8-10 near Queen's plots.
30 July 1 Ad - near Darny, with body molt + 2 - 1 1/2 week young - but banded.
3 Aug Several individuals seen between Wastely & Ferbey plots.
6 Aug Only 2 seen today - there were with 3 2-3 week-old young - 21 what were banded. The adults were moulting. Complete or partial body molt.
12 Aug 1 Flying immature seen No. 1 plot; many others.
14 Aug 3 juveniles insect plots
16 Aug 6 Juveniles (unn. actually) Jozes W.E. / Magnetic Station - feeding - wet marsh areas.
20 Aug 2 immature seen S.S. of Darny.
21 Aug Flock of 2, 4, 15, 8, 22 - immature between Bear Ridge & Other Slope.
