16 July Barrow, Alaska
Flare f 25 flew past the insect probe,
heading in a westerly direction.
19 July - Flare 86 near the insect plots - all
feeding in the low-artery polygon - troughs.
molt is starting.
21 July Flare f 10 - v. area No. 1 Voth - Flare
f 8 No. 1 Footprint Lake - feeding with
a group of 12-15 Red-necked - in the low
polygon areas. Again, some Nutes were
showing molt.
In processing One Water birds, The
plume collected seemed to be a 1st yr
bird since the wingscalf were more
brown - not golden - as in breeding Ad - The
wet plumage feather - the pump + perhaps
some 1st tail feathers. Three bird both
an active broad patch - indicating
Breeding in their 1st year.
23 July - Barrow, Alaska
I see nee Voth's tree, I see nee
Wohlschley - Elsa so.
26 July - Flare f 3 seen nee De Wannagair
inlet, Skrunk. One single bird
seen not Nute - 1/2 was between
Skrunk & Footprint. All were
feeding in marsh areas.
