3 August Barrow: St. Barrow 3, Alaska
Only a few individuals seen today
during the entire trip. No chicks or
juveniles were noted.
6 August Barrow = Skroavik, Alaska
Very few were seen today. One excited
4 was present on the plot, but her
chicks could not be found. A
seagull group 1 2-3 was
noted.
9 August Barrow, Alaska
None have been seen during the
past four days between
the bars & the ice ridge.
15 August - One completely molted individual
seen just north of Fortuna Lake.
This was the only one seen today.
21 August - Several seen between the bars
and Skroavik. All were in
complete full plumage, were
feeding in relatively high places.

25 Aug Many juveniles in full plumage, as
hundreds to be seen along the Bear
ridge. Three have been noted
during the last several days.
28 Aug 3 or 4 seen along the Bear
ridge.
