Two pair n ponds between Britta's & Erth's Areas). 9 June 15 pr. a slough behind Fresh Salt Lake. 10 June Pairs are now seen on The Lokert slough. 1pr was near Fresh Lake (just W toward the Drum area), one was S. and 1 pair Lake. Swans were seen flying over Beahridge. 11 June Several pairs seen between Camp & The Dead Ridge 13 June Pairs are now spotted in the various ponds. Two were a Waniga pond. A female Keldy Chamberlain hoera storm traps packed with large red chironomous + a few caddefly larvae. 17 June Many pairs seen - usually 1 pair to a pond. 7 July Lge Numbers seen at Dry pond S & N of the So. and 1 Pd plot at Sheridan - 58-68 birds 8P + 94 13 July None seen during the last 6 days. Nest ? This species have not been found This year! 23 July Flooded 6 to see a lake near Spokane. 24 July 10's scattered birds in Fresh Lake. 2 Aug - 2 seen - Front Lake 18 Aug - None seen recently.
