26 June Barrow, Alaska
The nest on the bleak ridge near the security
antennas were checked. It contained
7 eggs.
28 June Wainright, Alaska

29 June Barrow, Alaska
A group of 6-8? seen just south
of the bleak ridge
11 July The nest on the bleak ridge was
checked, and it was still intact.
Only 4 feet away from this nest was
a nest of an old squaw. Both nests
contain 7 eggs. The pintail eggs
are slightly lighter in color and
are also less greenish. The down
of the pintail nests is lighter than
the old squaws'.
22 July The nest on the B.R. was again checked, &
think it had hatched. There were
no signs of the 4-6 young in the
area.
2 August A flock of 45 seen on the southern
1 foot print lake. All were 8-9?
who were molting their body
feathers. Wing molt was not
seen.
