Stayed along the aspen bird drew above
the pond. Young birds of all kinds are
all over the place. Young especially
noticable of
Robin
Red-Breasted Sapsucker
Tolmie Warbler
Vesper Sparrow
Chipping Sparrow
Red-wing Blackbird
Marbling Vireo
Fleisher
Nutsackers
There is a patch of sedge on one
side of pond. Found trails & cut stems
so put out 36 mouse traps in this
stuff and 27 through the dry open
rocky slopes with scattered sage
& other low desert shrubs.
The Empidonax #14344 was taken
from a low aspen where it
was quietly sitting. No a sound
out of it!
