J.O. Russell Pine Cr., 3200 ft, 1/2 mi. & Oreg. Line, Warner Mts., Modoc Co., Calif. June 15 1964 Broke camp and drove to Pine Creek - the one near the Oreg. line. We drove up to Lilly Lake, raining all the while. Came back down canyon to near the mouth where we pulled into an abandoned garage. At least it had 1/2 a roof. This is a steep sided canyon with sides covered mostly with white fir with a scattering of yellow pine & incense cedar. Some cotton woods & few aspen in the bottom along the stream. Water very high due to recent rains. This is as rocky a country as one ever sees and still have heavy w - vegetation. Every Something wrong with this page - greasy!!!
