Havent seen any examples where the population worked at different time.
They simply didn't work at the usual time. This is probably all tied in with earth worm activity.
# 13665 was a ♀ accidentally killed in a live trap. She quite obviously had had her young in last 2 days or so. Large milk glands, and reproductive tract still very large with huge blood supply. The sketch of nipples shows one that were being used. Sketch above of # 13664 also shows ones being used. When I examined #13664 the air was used to part the fur and the 3 pair were all that could be found. Upon examining # 13665 again the air was used. In addition to the 3 obvious pair being used an anterior unused pair of nipples was uncovered.
