W.O. Russell Enroute to Mexico June 10, 1959 The party for this trip to Mexico consists of the following members: Bill Liddicker, Dave Taylor, George Bryan, Stacker Leopold, Allen Miller & myself. We left Peck at 5:45 A.M. in the Chw & International trucks. George Bryan is driving his own car as far as El Paso. He spent 2 hrs at my aunts in Lindsay, leaving there at 2 P.M., arriving in Meadls at 9:30 P.M. June 11, 1959 Drove by Phoenix and stayed for night in Deming New Mexico. June 12, 1959 Arrived in El Paso around 8 A.M. - had good luck crossing border so we continued on to Chihuahua City arriving around 8 P.M. June 13, 1959 In morning did our last shopping and at 5 P.M. Allen Miller arrived by plane from east coast. June 14, 1959 Left Chihuahua City & drove N some 60 kilometers where we turned W at the Aduana station on a road that cuts over a low saddle in the Del Vido Mts.
