J. Boagere - 1943 Sceloporus s. occidentalis April 18, 1943 Mus.Vert.Zool.,Univ.Calif.,Berkeley,Alameda Co., Calif. Fence lizard eaten by young king snake (Lampropeltis g. boylii) while being kept alive with it in a 1 gallon mayonnaise jar. The snake (T.R.3835) was taken April 15, 1 mi. WNW San Felipe, 275 ft., Santa Clara Co., Calif. It eats the lizard one hour later in Gilroy.
