II, 11, a) 2 inches anterior to anus; slightly lighter than English Red (nearer English Red than Grenadine Red) (Pl. II, 7, i) posterior to anus. Top of head same as dorsal color of tail. Ring a little darker and grayer than ventral color in that region, near Apricot Orange (Pl XIV, 11'). Iris Apricot Orange, covered by a black wash ventrally. The black wash decreasing on sides. Only upper 1/3 of iris clear Apricot Orange. This Apricot Orange part of the iris is difficult to see without magnification. Mus. Vert.
