At Parlier, conditions looked good - lightsail;
we turned over many boards - though none of
them were in grassy areas. We also turned over a
big pile of old broken drying trays - also not on
grassy area, and rolled over half a dozen palm log.
Oremile east Minkler we found an isolated
hill and climbed it, turning over rocks. The soil
was red, heavy, hard and cracked; most rocks deeply embedded.
