Last night we stopped in Dimba to see Olsocker,
school teacher and collector of many specimens of skinks in that region.
She is a former U.C. student. She directed us
here, where we spent the night. The blue oak
hills here are covered with rocks practically
none of which can be moved. We saw
at least 4 skinks crawling around on
the rocks during about 1 hour of hunting in
the morning, and shot 2.
