At 9:30 am, I left MV2, took street car to Colby's Ashby walked
½ mi. NE Lake Sonoccal hitched a ride thru the tunnel
to ¼ mi. w Orinda Junction. From there I followed
a ridge that meets Grizzly Peak Ridge at Bald Peak.
Collected 3 hae (by myself) & got 17 skinks. All were
near the surface, under small rocks. Weather-
a total of
cool, cloudy, sun shone thru several times, for about
one hour.
