J. Rodgers -1941 Mrs. Vert Zool, Univ. Calif., Berkeley Aug. 11 Murre were numerous, about 300 and was feeding young. Some of the young were probably not more than two or three days old. There were about 50 to 75 sea lions around and around the rocks, about 1/3 being California Sea Lions. The party camped just back from the edge of the beach about 5 miles north of Point Reyes. About noon on Aug 10, the party started back to Berkeley (d Burlingame -Frank Watson) by various routes. Those on the trip were Seth Benson, Don Hoffmeister, Ed V. Milly, Preston Hendrickson, Frank Peabody, R.E. Shirer, Jon Rodgers, Frank Watson, Charles Reed, and Charles Benton. The following three specimens were collected on the trip. 5 mi. north Point Reyes Marin Co., Calif 27603 Sealion Skull Aug 9 2756 Rana aurora draytonii - col. by Seth Benson W. side Tomales Bay, 34 mi. ESE Inverness Marin Co., Calif. Aug 10 2757 Hyla regilla E. side Bolinas Bay Marin Co., Calif. Aug 10 2758 Sceloporus occidentalis This young Sulpoma has blue on both sides of belly, and blue on throat that is in two large, well united patches.
