J. Rodgers -1940 Itinerary etc. Oct. 24 Mrs Vert. Zool, Univ. Calif, Berkeley, Alameda C, Calif Oct. 9, I saw pipits at the edge of the bay, Oct 20, 21, I heard notes overhead on the campus. I have been examining the lawns daily as as to be sure to record the first pipits feeding them. Yesterday there were none, last night it rained (the first time in several weeks), this morning there were pipits on the lawn west of the west entrance.
