The above specimens (2658-2667) were received
from Carl Roford, May 27, 1940. They were shipped
alive from Fillmore, Calif. Nos. 2658-2663 were
dead when received. They were put into
alcohol immediately. No. 2664-2667 were put
in a terrarium and left until June 19, when
they were killed in alcohol. It is noted that th
four kept alive for 3 weeks are much darker.
The others died while in a lightproof package.
