May 23, 1940 2658 Rana boylii 2659 " " 2660 " " 2661 " " 2662 " " 2663 " " 2664 " " 2665 " " 2666 " " 2667 " " The above specimens (2658-2667) were received from Carl Roford, May 27, 1940. They were shipped alive from Fillmore, Calif. Nos. 2658-2663 were dead when received. They were put into alcohol immediately. No. 2664-2667 were put in a terrarium and left until June 19, when they were killed in alcohol. It is noted that th four kept alive for 3 weeks are much darker.
