Rana aurora draytonii
Oct. 13 3 1/2 mi. ENE Petaluma, Sonoma Co., Calif.
Three specimens (J. Rodgers 2705-2707) were
collected in a pool of water about 8 ft by 10 ft
and averaging 3 feet deep. The pool is in an
otherwise dry stream bed east of the road and
about 50 feet north of a bridge crossing the
stream bed and leading to a farmhouse one or
two hundred yards east of the road. No. 2707 will
be skeletonized. It may be a male, not of breeding
condition.
