Color of specimen (T.P. 2998) taken 1 mi.W Michigan Bar, 200 feet, Sacramento County, Calif,
A light brown specimen, as compared with a black one collected near Mt. Diablo the same week. A large L.G.B. that is being kept in captivity by Walter Dalguest (specimen from near Mt. Diablo) ate a large Genhonotus monuli-carnaticus and a small Coluber c.mormon. Sceloporus c. was in the cage with it for several days, but none were taken.
Domall L.G.B., taken near in Berkeley Hills, at a skink (Eumeces shiltronius). It has been in a cage with a Coluber c. mormon by about 14 days, for days but did not eat it.
