J Radgers -1942 50 Eumeces skiltonianus Nov. 11 (cont.) Mus. Vert. Zool., Univ. Calif., Berkeley, Calif. Two of us collected 13 skinks in 2 hours. Sibley found four adults within an area of 1 1/2 foot diameter and two of them were coiled together. I found three two young and one adult within 3 feet of each other. We never have found such concentrations before. All of these skinks were near the surface (all within 6"). Some were under or beside very small rocks, just under debris. Nov. 17. Mus. Vert.
