completely closed off. The egg, and one more - now 6,
one now in the NE corner of the SW quarter of the
cage, in a large chamber. Yesterday was the first
time this nest was disturbed. Apparently the disturbance
caused 3/14 to move her eggs

to a new place. Measurements
1. 13.4 X 7.8 mm.
2. 12.4 X 7.9 mm.
3. 13.1 X 8.1 mm.
4. 12.4 X 7.7 mm.

2:00 Egg of nest no 3 moved 2 1/2" to the SW; now under
center of SW quarter of cage with
filing up between eggs as if pushed
up as
egg were pushed together. Eggs numbered in ink
had that side up; others had neither numbered
side up. Female was coiled around egg, left
them as nest was exposed, but was herded back
10 min. later.
July 19 3/14 moved her eggs to the SE quarter of the cage, in
following out a place for them, she scraped out all
