Joseph Dixon was in today and told me of seeing a
whiptail with a total length of less than 6 inches, at
Colony Mills, Ranger Station, Sequoia National Park,
Sept. 15, 1940. Yesterday, Earl S. Herald brought in a
young of this season that was collected at Ash
Mountain, Seg. N.P., Aug. 23, 1940; it is now MVZ 33853
