1602 T. Rogers -- 1945. Ifinerary Sacramento Valley trip, Mar. 8, 8. We found no specimens in the southern part of the Sacramento valley except to this western side and tripped northward east the extreme edge of the floor of the valley at a site where we had a view of the valley floor on both sides and saw that it was an area of very flat, level ground with some small hills here and there. We crossed the Sacramento River at Rio Vista, then went south through Brentwood and up Marsh Creek to Clayton, where we stopped for lunch. We arrived in Berkeley about 7:00 p.m.
