0630 hrs. Woke up. Will begin arranging animals for
Barotyping
0720 hrs Stopped for breakfast. Plan to barotype ca.
26 animals.
1840 hrs. Spent the day barotyping as planned. Barotyped,
took blood and tissues from the following: 6 Paramyces
zarhynchus (#1488-93); 4 Heteromys (2 from Berrigabule
and 2 from Rayon) #s 1494-97); a Merionosa mexicana
(#1498); and Argyromys alfaroi? (#1499); 2 Paramyces sp.
from above Rayon (#1500-01); 3 Tylomys from Berrigabule
(#1502-04); 2 P. boylii types (#1505-6); 2 P. oaxacensis?
(#1507-8 from Bochile); 2 Reithro. fulvescens from above
Rayon and an Argyromys fulvescens (1509-1511). Ed and
David spent the day preparing the specimens as study skins.
1920 hrs After eating a dinner cooked by Ed I took a break
to buy more pins for pinning specimens and to make
a phone call (without success).
2040 hrs Collected tissue from several more animals (2
P. zarhynchus #s1512-13; 1 P. oaxacensis? #1514; 2 P. boylii (#1515-16),
and four more P. zarhynchus #s1517-20)

0800hrs As a Christmas present to Ed and Dave I let them sleep
until 8:00!
0845hrs Began processing more specimens. We will check
out before 12:00. Took tissue and blood for several
