The shop is located across from the Pemex on the east side of town on the highway leading to Tapachula. They first replaced the gas filter, and the car still ran poorly. They then decided that it was the cables from the distributor to the plugs. The main Chevrolet place located ca. 2 mi. east of the Pemex did not have the correct type. They were going to splice some wires when one of the mechanics got the car to run smoothly by adjusting the carburetor.
