in were not all that great. One was along a small river (up on steep side) and the next was ca. 1 km past this is some forest. It looked great from the road, but after going through only several feet or dense secondary growth the "forest" itself only a narrow band ca. 30 m in width had little or no understory. The directions to these two localities are as follows: Proceed out of San Jose (west) and take the toll road (Route 26) to the Villa Colon exit (17 km from San Jose).
The exit for Villa Colon goes to the right then over the highway night.
