In addition, we will now have to go back to the Tilaran locality for one more night to collect more. We talked more with the German. His name is Heinz Flug. He offered to put us up at his Hacienda given 4 days notice for some good horseback riding. We plan to stay here for another night and set bat nets. 25 July (Sunday) 0900hr Yesterday afternoon we drove into Liberia to see their independence festival. It was quite a bit like a county fair in the states (more emphasis on livestock here). There was a dance where we met some friends of Leonard’s (who works for Heinz Flug) and later we went to another place to dance and ended up celebrating the independence until 4:00 AM.
