Sign for Ojo de Agua. Go underneath a railroad tressle continue on this dirt road through sugar can fields for about 4.5km, then take a right hand fork in the road. This road will continue for another 1.5 km and deadend at the base of a hill (see below)
At the dead end a trail leads off to the right (north)
c.a. 0.9 Km down the trail is the Ojo de Agua
1/30 no Completed picking up traps. Unfortunately, was unable
to collect any Neteronops. Collected a total of 13 animals
including 2 Orzomyx melanotic, 1 Scrisodor hispidus,
and 10 Bromypura mexicanus.
1210 hrs Arrived Cordoba. Had the flat tire fixed on
the eastern outskirts of town for 60 pesos.
1300 hrs After buying ice (blocks) at a Cerveza Costa
Blanca establishment next to a Arroz Tropical building
located ca. 2 blocks from the turn for the Orizaba
toll road we are ready to drive to another locality
that Stan had worked in 1974. The locality is along
the mex 150 above the town of Mendoza.
