Duke E Roger 1981 Journal 31 October (cont.) on a previous trip, it was full so we found a room for three with three beds at the Hotel de France ($437.20 ps) 2100 hs. After supper we planned a tentative itinerary for the remainder of the trip which would accommodate (hopefully) both my objectives in coming down and Stan's requirements as put forth by Dave Wake. Tomorrow we will go to a locality at the top of the list in terms of priority for Stan and Dave (a "mountain" near Cuautlan. I will set traps here as well. Next day, pick up traps, then work near Fortin for salamanders. in the evening, drive to Ojo de Agua and set traps. Next day, pick up traps at Ojo de Agua and drive to another locality at Barranca de San Miguel. For the next two days after that, collect salamanders at either St. Bernardo or Huatusco. The next day, collect salamanders at Puerto de Aire (but set no traps). The following day, drive to Xicotepec de Juarez (takes ca eight hours) and set traps. Next day, pick up traps and drive to Mexico City. Then the following day fly to San Francisco. 2300 hs Turned in. 1 November 0730 hs Arose, cleared out of room and went to eat breakfast. 0900 hs. Purchased ice and food, left to drive to Cuautlan.
