There is a salamander local (Rio Erio) than Stan and Dave want to collect. 1415 hrs Search a hillside briefly near Rio Erio (about 3-4 km east on the old non toll highway to Oaxaca The area was too dry, we found nothing and moved on. 1600 hrs Search along the old highway to the west of Rio Erio for about 20 km, but found nothing familiar to Stan or worth working over. Decided to drive into Oaxaca and rent a hotel. 1720 hrs. Arrived Oaxaca (got back on toll road at Rio Erio and off at Oaxaca). The town's streets are all torn apart.
