RUBBLE D.O. 1990 Journal Hastings Natural History Reservation, Menout Co., Cal. April 16 (got plate thus an [illegible] and checked the traps I set behind the Robinson House. Great success - caught 4 mature males & Pc which I kept plus 3 lactating females and 2 juveniles. Spent some time getting pictures of one of the females. On the way to the lab I swung by GRIDLERZ and picked up all the non-folding Sherman (84) for David Gulbinick to use. I left this in the barn. Spent 1100-1400h in the lab wrestling fishes and preparing specimens (see camera) It rained off and on during this time. Packed, cleaned, and finally left Hastings by 1500h. A successful trip - perhaps my last solo trip?...
