PUEBLO, D.O. 1990 Journal 5. Hunting Reservation, Monterey Co., Calif March 18 0630th-out checking traps on GRID MC. Upper 40s, calm. Tried to get some telemetry locations while circling traps, but was unsuccessful. Finished by 0800h and proceeded to check traps on GRID RC. This is the last year I'll check traps here, so I opened up all traps as I checked. Also, I left the 8 Alectona traps in place. Finished by 1000h and returned to GRID MC for telemetry locations (see Telemetry Data). (40 results below) Today was sunny, upper 90s. Spent the afternoon preparing a shrew mortality and filing telemetry readings. Reset all traps on MC, plus 5 traps at -11,14 and 4 traps at -11,20 (for radio-collared mice) from 1630-1730h. Clear, no moon, mid 50s. This evening I mainly checked traps for radio-collared mice and tried to get locations on radio-collared mice. Trapping success
