RIBBLE, D.O. 1989 PEROINUS CALIFORNICUS 37 Hastings Reservation, Mendoc Co., Calif June 27 (cont.) On GRID RC this am we caught ♀ #020, 46g, perf, lact at st 4,8; :- she gave birth since 25th (23:00h), probably some time yesterday given perforation. On GRID MC this am Julie dusted the following 2 ♂♀ : 1351, 37.5g, up, panos st 10,9 with ORANGE; and 1460, 44.5g, lactating, st 9,18 with GREEN powder. This PM on GRID MC caught ♂ 1480, st 10,10 with ORANGE powder only visible around his mouth; ♂ #040, scrotal, st 11,18 covered with GREEN powder; and ♀ 1644, 40g, st 8,17 covered with fresh GREEN powder. June 29 This AM on GRID MC we recdusted ♀ 1351, 36.5g, up, st 10,9 with ORANGE powder; ♀ 1497, 38g, up, st 9,14 with BLUE-GREEN; and ♀ 1460, 44.5g, lactating, st 10,17 with GREEN. Also we dusted ♀ 020, 37.5g, up, st 10,6 with PURPLE and ♀ 1381, 47.5g, up, post-lact. st W-9(lost) with GOLDEN BROWN. June 29 This AM on GRID MC we caught SAD ♂ 1568, st 11,4 covered w/visible PURPLE; imm ♀ 1645, st 10,6 covered w/ol visible PURPLE; ♂ 1464, st 9,15 covered with BLUE-GREEN; and ♂ 030, st 11,4 covered with visible PURPLE. We also recdusted ♀ 0100, 40.5, st W-13(lost), lact with RED POWDER. This PM on GRID MC caught ♂ 1464, scrotal, st 9,15 covered w/fresh BLUE-GREEN powder; and recdusted ♀ 1460, 38g, lacting, st 8,18 with GREEN. Also this PM we caught ♂ 1206, scrotal, st 9.5 covered with fresh RED powder and tried to use him in a dyadic encounter (see Journal, he escaped). June 30 On GRID MC this am we radio-collared ♀ 0160, 42.5g, barely lactating, st 9,4 with Radio-Coll #12 and dusted her with RED powder before releasing
