April 4 This AM on GRID MC I dusted ♀# 0100, 42.5g, lactating (barely),
St 8,4, with RED powder; caught SAD♂# 1508 (st 10,4) and
Mat♂ 1212 (st 11,5) covered with visible PURPLE powder (from ♀020)
# 1526 ♂ SADIake), W.D. 34.5g. Ear-tagged. RC drift fence, st W-4(in). white tail tip
Collected tissues.
This PM on GRID MC; west drift fence, I caught imm♂'s 1519
and 1523 covered with fresh GOLDEN BROWN powder (both offspring
of ♀♀ 1381).
April 5 # 1527 ♀ Early SAD, nullip. 23g. Ear-tagged. MC drift fence, st E-5(in). Coll tissue
Examined under and no sign of powder: Possibly an immigrant.
# 1528 ♂ White tail tip.
Imm, TAD. 21g. Ear-tagged. RC drift fence, St W-4(out). Coll tissue
ORANGE powder clearly visible in ears; offspring of ♀♀ 020.
This PM on GRID RC I radio-collared ♀ 1183, 46g, teats swollen as if
lactating but no milk, 10m East of E-7. Radio-collar (KVM) Ch# 7. I left her in
a cage ~10min and upon release she appeared fine. Dusted her ORANGE.
Also caught ♀#020, 53g, very pregnant, at station 4,8. I had intended to
radio-collar her if she was lactating - decided to wait and redusted her ORANGE.
Also caught her mate, ♂#1257, at ~4,65, with covered with ORANGE
April 6 This am on GRID MC I caught ♀ 1381, 54g, pregnant, 1m West of
W-9. Intended to radio-collar her, but will have to wait until she is
lactating (any day??). Dusted her GOLDEN BROWN.
This am of GRID RC I radio-collared ♂#040, 40.5g, scrotal,
presumed mate of 1183, 3m E. of E-8, Channel # 4.
This PM on GRID RC we (David Gubewick) radio-collared ♀ 1225,
lactating, st 5,10, with radio ch#10, and dusted her w/ PURPLE.
Also changed collar on ♀ 1183 to Ch #2, caught on drift fence
at station E-8.
Additionally, caught ♀ 1364, st 5,13, 44.5g, pregnant, dusted GOLDEN BROWN
