Conducted 4 amos encounters this am. Summary -
Home Visitor
1979♀ 1269♂ - 3 mins into warm up 1269 jumped onto the cardboard
divider, then out!
12640♂ 126:
12640♂ 1225♀ No aggression
Manicured approach, 1264 dug under and out!
030♀ 01300♂ First 2 mins the ♀ was clear aggressor, but the
she escaped out under edge!
1364♀ last 12570♂ Mostly neutral until end when ♂ approached
♀, she attacked, and he retreated.
Obviously, something needs to be done to prevent escapes. This afternoon
I added ~ 2in of 44" hardware screen around all 4 bottom edges to
Hopefully this will enable me to cover up the cloth screen with
cloth and prevent escapes. Side
view:
Screen extending 2" in side.
This PM on grid DC I dusted ♀1364 with GOLDEN PIGMENT at 4,13 (after
lydic encounter, see below), and ♀ #020, 44.5g, lactating with ORANGE
at 4,9. * Caught 020 this am, pregnant; thus, she gave birth today.
Conducted a dyadic encounter between these 2 ♀s this evening at
2235h. I divided APPROACH category in "Approach" (no agonistic
interaction) and "Offensive Approach" (agonistic interaction results) -
have seen both of those and think I should record it as such.
The encounter tonight has to be defined as Neutral, no aggressive
interactions observed.
