Remsen, J.V. 1977 Magnolia Warbler Dendroica magnolia June 14 Pt. Reyes, Marin Co., Calif.: 1 ♂ singing in poison-hemlock gully just SW of Nunes Ranch.. Seen from as close as 5 ft. and watched for 5+ minutes: gray crown, white eyebrow; black face mask; yellow throat; yellow breast and belly with conspicuous columns of black streaks starting at upper breast; black back; entire wing shoulder white; tail dark with very conspicuous white patches; [yellow rump not noted].
