Apr.5 East Mojave Desert, San Bernardino Co. Calif.: 1 in pinyon-juniper oak woodland at ~ 5700' in Caruthers Canyon in New York Mountains. Very rare in this area of California - first spring record for the area. Winterer or spring migrant? Heard and seen well.
Nov.26 Tijuana River Valley, San Diego Co. Calif.: 2 at Vendover Ranch - very rare in lowlands of San Diego Co.
Dec.26 Paular Dam, San Bernardino Co. Calif.: 1 in scrub along river ~ 2 mi. below the dam. Very rare in Colo. R. Valley.
