Remsen, J.V. 1977 Mountain Chickadee Parus gambeli June 20 East Mojave Desert, San Bernardino Co., Calif.: 6 in Keystone Canyon, 4 above Keystone Mine, and 2 in the white fir patch in the New York Mtns. There was a group of 4 which seemed to be a family group at ~ 5480 ft. in lower Keystone Cyn. One of the two in the white fir was singing.
