Costa's Hummingbird
Calyptr costa
Dec.26 Parker Dam, San Bernardino Co., Calif: 1 & in flowering Eucalyptus in Goof residences. Detected by its very high-pitched, Bushtit-like call notes. The bird was almost completely grayish-white underneath and rather dull green above. Seemed smaller than Anna's.
