Compared directly with Snowy Egret: larger than Snowy, legs all dull greenish, bill larger proportionally - blue gray base + darker tip (but division not particularly sharp), no yellow facial skin, eye much paler, tips of primaries showing grayish coloration, head beginning to get grayish tones
