Calcaris lopponicus 5 July Needle River Coal Mine, 75°0'25"W, 78°29'21"N, Atala sphagnum tham at lake Agassiz. A 4 could food seen along the river bluff in steeve. 6 July There now appear to be 2-3 non breeding 4's on the census plot including the 4 were clo 1, 1 number. The 3's were scattered, mostly in the Zephyrane flats by the place next, and along the river bluff near the 1,6 marker. The net closest to the river evidently has been robbed, the lining and inner part of the carp pulled out and about 1 foot from the original site. No young kids found in the area, but a 3 was still present. The recent net totality had only 1 large young and a pair was in the area; couldn't find any other young. The other nests appear not to have fledged any young. They are getting large enough to leave in mid but the 3-egg nest. No song.
