P.D.Benedict's 1965 Asia flammeus 21 June Barrow Alaska - clearly two birds present as saw one with good flight feathers and 1 with a gap in the inner primaries on one side, both flying fairly high but no spring. The 1st bird is better than the second. 25 June One seen flying over the low area between the Beach Ridge and the POW site in the morning. It was in good plumage and fairly dark; as it flew over a pair of jægers attacked it. [illegible]
