Zema sabinei 10June Meade River Coal Mine, 157°25'W, 70°29'N, Alaska 5 birds feeding with h.T. Jaegers on garbage behind the village. Some aggressive display noted. Upright posture weed full down saw 1-2 hairs In rest post the rope is white. a silent, almost hummocked posture seen by one bird supplanting two others. The whole profile horizontal and rounded. A very aggressive bird went into an upright calling "Kwak Kwak Kwak" when another will beat up to it A long call given to a 3rd bird flying up to flee a pair was: Kwoek Kewak kewak kewak alter posture (like rest but caps out). The flight calls are a few like "Kwosow" or "Kywow" No interaction with the jaegers.
