Mojave Desert Areg: from Baker to Studley's to Cimg to Midhills (census - pinyon-juniper) Examined pinyon-juniper woodland north of Midhill campground, where I climbed a small, rock-topped mountain 1/2 mile north of the northernmost point in the campground; then drove to Ivanpah Valley (census - yucca schidigora - creosote- cholla); then to Stake Line on I-15 where I looked at Ivanpah Lake which had filled with water near the freeway.
