Area: s. of Blythe on Lovekin Rd to C-10 "Buckwater" area of Cal. Fish and Game: scattered cottonwoods and willows in dense brush with cattails, adjacent to Colo. River and agricultural fields. There is much better habitat on the [illegible] opposite bank on the Arizona side - more cottonwoods and mesquites and no agriculture. A Harris' Hawk had been reported from the Calif. side a week ago, and the area looks suitable for this species.
